Laura Cardinal

I was born in San Francisco and moved to rural Nevada when I was 11. My parents opened a country mercantile, and later several other businesses, in which I worked. I now live in Hereford and enjoy running, swimming and hiking.

Since 1988 I have been practising law with the goal of helping people as best I can. I also served as a judge of the Cochise County Superior Court, which informed me that I preferred to work more closely with people than the court allows.

MEET OUR ATTORNEY

Dean LeVay 

I was born in southwestern Ohio near Cincinnati, to pious Christian parents. My father owned a residential construction business. I enlisted in the US Army at 18 and left Ohio, never to live there again. My life path took me from there to visit or live in many States in the southern and western US and in many countries of the world, for the most part in Europe and Asia

I have been a lawyer now for 40 years. I was influenced in part by an admired uncle who had a successful legal practice in southeastern Oregon. I left the Regular Army at mid-career to enter law school. I was recruited by the US Department of Justice right away and began my career as a Federal Immigration prosecutor in Miami, Florida. Eventually I was appointed by the Attorney General to be a Federal Immigration Judge in Arizona and served over 10 years in that position. While I was pursuing my Federal career, I continued my military career in the Reserve Components, almost entirely in the National Guard. I retired from the Army Reserve at the rank of Colonel. Thereafter, I worked for the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Kabul, Afghanistan, as a prosecutor in Navaho County and as a Public Defense attorney in Cochise County for five years.
